| Thickness |
“Front edge” refers to the thickness of the media as it is fed into the printer (e.g., the protective sheet or backing sheet). To ensure that the media feeds correctly, the front edge must not exceed the maximum thickness. Once the media has reached the printer’s feed rollers, the thickness may increase up to the specified maximum value for the print media. Note that different types of media may affect the maximum allowable thickness at the leading edge.
