Gemini is an automatic sheet feeding and cutting system designed to automatically feed and cut materials without the need for an operator.
The system is equipped with a Graphtec CE8000 plotter and can cut self-adhesive sheets, screen prints, printed retail materials, and digital prints on cardboard.
Thanks to a newly developed feed magazine with a ramp design and an integrated wheel system, the sheets can be automatically fed into the plotter without interruption. After cutting, the finished sheets are automatically fed to the output tray.
The plotter is equipped with an integrated sensor that quickly reads the registration marks after each sheet is fed into the machine. Combined with the cutting management software , this provides a cutting accuracy of 0.3 mm.
This innovative table trimmer can handle a wide range of material thicknesses and sheet sizes, including A4, A3, SRA3, SA3, Letter, Tabloid, and Tabloid Extra.

This makes the system suitable for the production of, among other things , labels, business cards, die-cut business cards, small packaging, tags, and much more.
Gemini can cut cardboard with a basis weight of 200–350 g/m² as well as self-adhesive sheets starting at 170 g/m².
Gemini has two different cutting positions.
The standard position is primarily used for kiss-cutting, such as in the production of labels where only the top layer of material is to be cut.
The second position is used for full-cut through the material and is suitable for the production of, for example, small packages, tags, and other die-cut products.

Gemini Cutting Manager is the manufacturer’s proprietary software that makes it possible to cut lines and paths directly from vector graphics in PDF files.
The software also includes functions for handling and die cutting of sheet materials. With functions for Cut Through and Dashed Cut, the system can be used for the production of greeting cards, POS materials and cardboard packaging, for example.
With the new version of Gemini, we have further improved the capabilities for cutting and producing smaller packages.
Using a special creasing tool (not included), you can now create true and precise fold lines, in addition to the traditional half-cut.
This opens up even greater possibilities for packaging production and makes Gemini an even more versatile and high-performance finishing solution.
Have you printed and loaded several different jobs at the same time in Gemini?
With the new camera—available as an option—the system can automatically read the DataMatrix code printed on each sheet. Gemini then identifies the job and automatically loads the cutting file associated with the respective original.
This smart feature reduces production time, minimizes the risk of operator error, and contributes to a more efficient and automated workflow.
