The MBO 3050 UV LED is a new, compact, and multifunctional UV printer in the MBO model series.

Using modern UV-LED printing technology, the UV ink is cured directly by the UV-LED lamp. This technology delivers strong, clear, and intense colors as well as durable prints on a wide range of materials—regardless of whether the substrate is dark or light. The printer also allows you to create embossed and Braille effects, opening the door to decorative, tactile, and functional applications. The MBO 3050 UV LED combines a compact design with great flexibility and is ideal for businesses that want to produce high-quality UV prints on a wide variety of materials and products.

MBO 3050 Affordable UV Printer

The MBO 3050 has a print area of 30 × 50 cm and can handle products up to 10 cm in height. The built-in automatic height sensor detects the height of the products and positions the print table at the optimal distance from the print head. The distance can be adjusted between 1–3 mm to achieve the best possible print quality while protecting the print head.

The integrated UV-LED lamp cures the ink instantly, producing durable and long-lasting prints. The MBO 3050 can print directly onto a wide variety of materials, including metal, glass, wood, stone, plastic, fabric, and vinyl, as well as many other types of materials.

Physical Characteristics

High-capacity ink system: The rear of the machine features an ink supply system with separate 250-ml cartridges.
Convenient Software Control: The printer’s functions can be easily controlledvia the software, including manual and automatic table height adjustment, moving the table forward and backward, positioning the print head, and cleaning the print head.
Easy maintenance: The design provides easy access to the machine’s components for service, maintenance, and any necessary repairs.
Open Table Design: The table is open at both the front and back, allowing for the loading of larger products. The design also provides easy access for loading and unloading both before and after printing.

Ink

The printhead in the MBO 3020 has six ink channels: four channels for CMYK ink and two channels for white ink.

Bulk ink system

The ink is supplied from separate 500-ml ink reservoirs. The bulk ink system reduces the need for frequent refills and maintenance while ensuring a continuous ink flow.
Refilling is simple—just pour ink directly into the respective containers and continue printing without having to remove or clean ink cartridges.
The ink is certified as non-toxic, and the prints have been tested for safety around young children. The prints also feature high durability and a long lifespan.
A complete set of ink is sufficient for printing up to 65 m², depending on the design, ink coverage, and print settings.

White ink reservoir with agitator

White ink makes it possible to print directly onto a very wide range of materials. It can be used for full-coverage white prints or as an opaque base layer beneath color prints.
The integrated agitator keeps the white ink in motion and helps maintain a consistent consistency and optimal print quality.

Ink Level Sensor

The ink cartridges are equipped with level sensors that notify the operator when it is time to refill the ink.

Software

MBO offers advanced RIP and printing software that can be customized to meet the needs of your business and production. The RIP software provides comprehensive control over the printing process and includes the following features, among others:

Predefined settings for different types of media and print surfaces.
Control over the printer’s functions and settings for each ink channel.
Adjustment of ink volume, color saturation, and other color settings.
Multiple options for white ink, such as full-coverage white background, white only, and color + white + color.
Ability to add custom ICC color profiles in the RIP software for optimized color reproduction.
Ability to create templates for precise positioning of products on the print table.
A repeat function that allows you to duplicate the same design for printing on multiple products simultaneously.
Drop size control for improved print results on curved or uneven surfaces.
Resolution options:
- 720 × 1440 dpi – for photographs and fine details.
- 720 × 2160 dpi – for photographs, very fine details, and high print quality on smooth materials.
