Save your entire collection of diagnostic data in full resolution with the simple push of a button. With the high-performance RX400 MedX data transfer system, patient examinations can be delivered on modern, write-protected RX400 USB flash drives.
USB flash drives can be used alongside traditional patient CDs and offer several advantages, such as high transfer speeds, large storage capacity, and independence from CD drives.
The compact RX400 MedX is easy to install and integrate and is well-suited for system integrators, healthcare providers, and hospitals.
The RX400 MedX is a compact, fully integrated tabletop system with a built-in computer, four front-panel USB ports, a label printer, and a touchscreen. The system is also equipped with an internal CD/DVD drive, making it easy to import existing patient CDs into your PACS system.
The RX400 can be connected directly as a DICOM node and support multiple AE Title configurations. Alternatively, the system can be used in parallel with many existing DICOM solutions, such as robots for patient CDs and patient portals.
This allows the RX400 to be quickly integrated into existing workflows. Patient USB drives are created just as easily—and even faster—than traditional patient CDs. The advantage is that the information becomes available faster, while the USB drive’s high storage capacity makes it possible to store multiple exams on the same device.
Rimage patient USB drives are automatically write-protected, which helps protect them from malware. The built-in printer prints the patient label as soon as the written USB flash drive is removed, reducing the risk of patients’ USB flash drives being mixed up.
Rimage patient USB drives enhance data security by ensuring that stored information cannot be altered afterward. This is achieved using WORM (Write Once, Read Many) technology. This means that data written to a Rimage patient USB drive cannot be modified.
This provides a high level of protection against viruses and malware, since the USB flash drives can only be written to by the RX400 MedX system. When the USB flash drive is connected to other USB ports , the information can be read but not modified or overwritten.
With TopLine and BaseLine Pro USB flash drives, the Rimage RX400 MedX can also add new data to existing content. The USB flash drive can then be secured again through a new WORM process, ensuring that the added information cannot be altered.
